In September, Alexander James Interiors teamed up with luxury yacht builder Sunseeker London during the London Boat Show with an exclusively interior styled Sunseeker motor yacht.

Alexander James Interiors dressed and styled the interior of the impressive Sunseeker 86 Yacht with a collection of soft furnishings and home accessories to compliment and enrich the already exquisite styling found on board a Sunseeker motor yacht. With twenty years’ experience in creating award-winning interiors, the special styling of the 86 Yacht introduced an extra dimension to a luxury partnership between the two brands.

Alexander James Interiors Managing Director, Robert Walker, says “We were delighted to have been asked to work with Sunseeker London at this year’s boat show. We were keen to inject our passion, style and sophisticated luxury in to the already truly glamourous 86 Yacht and it’s been a pleasure working with Sunseeker”.

The styling was inspired by the luxury yacht lifestyle and, with the intention of showing boat show guests how the 86 Yacht can be a home from home, the scheme embraced a contemporary twist on the nautical theme. Centring on a modern and monochromic palette, the plush cushions in black, white, taupe and grey were paired with chrome and ocean inspired accessories chosen specifically to embellish the luxurious furnishings found on board the 86 foot masterpiece.

The internal styling was mirrored on the fly bridge; the black and white exterior of the boat embellished by the deluxe faux fur throws and heavy cable knit blankets. When paired with black and white striped cushions, these not only complimented the exterior but also added a taste of the elegance and glamour found throughout the boat.
